Culture

The Croatian Roma have their own culture that differs from the culture of the local population.

In Croatia there are several Roma cultural associations and institutions that seek to improve educational opportunities for Roma children, as well as intercultural education for all pupils in Croatia, in order to gradually reduce the stereotypes towards the Roma, increase the level of the acceptance of the elements of Roma culture (language, art, history, customs) and reduce social distance.
