Education

Education is an integral part of the National Programme for the Roma and the Action Plan for the Decade of Roma Inclusion and it refers to pre-school education of the Roma minority, their primary, secondary and higher education and adult education and literacy. Due to extreme life conditions (poor living and housing conditions, bad health conditions, high rate of poverty and unemployment) and their cultural background, the members of the Roma minority rarely finish school.
