Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
Complexe campaign in order to develop the situation of Roma living in the IXth district. There is a big Roma population in the IXth district. As a result of the "rehabilitation" of the district their situation worsened, families with multiple disadvantages had to move somewhere else or they were pushed in slums. Our campaigns as alternative method can help to strengthen acceptance. People living in the district, people who are in contact with Roma living in the district. Reducing negative attitude towards Roma. To provide basis for real contact within the district, situations where Roma provide services. Community restaurants, involving people from the district. Train Roma women to make them able to start successful business.

Results of the project
19 271 visitors clicked on our webpage from March 1 to 21 August. The number of friends is 848 on our Facebook profile. 328 guest has been participating in our dinner event from 1. March – 21. August. Appearances in community actions: 2 occasions (National Sure Start Children House Conference with 40 participants and Crime Prevention Days Program by the request of Police Headquarter on May 2012 (300 participants). 28 times on different web magazine. 3 times in different programs (Kossuth Radio, Catholic Radio, Civil Radio). 4 times in different TV channel (3 times in national commercial channels: RTL Klub, TV2 – two times, in two programs and ATV) once in the district channel – 9es TV. 4 times in newspapers and magazines: 3 national newspaper and magazine (Népszabadság, Blikk, Nők Lapja), one local newspaper from Budapest (Helyi Téma). Passive access to number of people by our media campaign is more than 1000000 – estimated data. The number of people we reached with active access by the media campaign is 668.
