Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The project's obective was the activation of Radom Roma, including women, men and the promotion of Roma culture. The aim was to further integrate Radom Roma socially and professionally .
Organizers were encouraged to acquire knowledge and improve their professional qualifications, pointing out that only consciously taken action in the field of education creates an opportunity to improve the situation of the Roma community members.
Results of the project
The activities carried out within the project:
- training with active participation in the labour market,
- vocational training - tailoring, hand and nail care, catering, technology finishing works,
- the promotion and dissemination of knowledge about the Roma culture through lectures in schools, conferences, seminars for organization representatives, public administration, access to free medical care.
Who will benefit from this project (target group)
Members of the Roma community living around Radom. People at risk of social exclusion.
