Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The low level of education among Roma children. Ensuring access to preschool and better parenting initiatives for Roma children and families in 4 communities. Increase learning opportunities about early childhood education for Roma and non-Roma children aged 3-6 years old and their parents through improvement of learning facilities and preparation of early childhood development staff. Providing health services for Roma and non-Roma children aged 0-6 years old. Increasing parental and community awareness about importance of early education and care in three Roma communities. Providing health services and counseling by gynecologist for women in 4 communities

Results of the project
Publication of the poster, delivering the poster to communities. Enrollment of children in kindergarten, (160 children), Korce, Saver/Lushnje, Morave/Berat, Baltez/Fier. Assessment of children. Health services for children (all year long) (463 beneficiaries). Training sessions on early child development and parenting. (578 participants/4 communities). Publication of poster, delivering the poster to communities (1000 copies). Celebration of New Year Eve’s. Celebration of the International Roma Day, 8th of April. Celebration of the International Children’s Day. Health services and counseling by gynecologist for women in 4 communities (622 beneficiaries).
