The specific objectives of the project are:
• Disseminating successful educational experiences in promoting Roma education;
• Developing strategies to carry out successful actions in the participating countries (Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Ireland);
• Involving Roma in the selection of good educational practices carried out in their communities;
• Establishing networks of coordination between the coordination, Roma communities and education agents in order to overcome Roma educational exclusion.

Results of the project
This project originated from the need to improve the educational level and life condition of the Roma. The key to reaching these aims is to boost education participation of Roma children. This can be better achieved by raising awareness of the successful educational experiences in promoting Roma education. The ROM-UP! project will offer concrete successful measures in order to ensure that all Roma children have the access to quality education, ensuring primary school completion, reducing the number of early school leavers and promoting the access to the tertiary education.
