Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
Providing pre-school education and assistance with enrollment in primary education for 150 Romani and non-Romani children aged 3-6 years and their parents in two locations: Kuçova and Grabian. Increasing the pre-school learning opportunities for 150 Roma and non-Roma children aged 3-6 years old in Kuçova and Grabian/Lushnje. Increasing parental and community awareness about the importance of registration in civil state offices, early education and care in two Roma communities. Enabling children of different ethnic groups to interact and socialize with each other through improvement of multi-ethnic relationship in kindergarten, school and community.

Results of the project
Publication of the poster, delivering the poster to communities. Implementation and operational activities of the Kindergarten in Grabian/Lushnje and Kucova, public preschool program June 2011, September 2011-May 2012 (132 children). Summer school, July 2011-August 2011 (110 beneficiaries). Detection of the cases of un-rolled Roma children in civil state offices, addressing those cases to the respective institutions (all year long), 12 cases. Training of the parents about the importance of children education and childhood development (every 2 months) (300 Roma and non Roma parents). Publication of the poster, delivering the poster to communities, September 2011 (1000 copies). Conference, 8 April 2012 (120 participants). Celebration of New Year’s Eve (December 2011) , Roma International Day (8th April) and International Day of children (1st June).
