Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The main objective of the project was to increase the level of education and social integration of the Roma in Kowary. They were supported in terms of equal educational opportunities, the acquisition of skills, strengthening their potential and integrity based on cultural identity. The conducted activities allowed for the development of mechanisms that overcame their passive attitude and social alienation. The most important goal was to achieve full participation of the Roma in the civil society and to bridge the gap between this group and the rest of the townspeople.

Results of the project
The activities carried out within the project:
- the activities to support the development of children,
- the common room of the Roma,
- theatre workshops language courses, nail and hairdressing course, driving courses cat. B and C, the organization of the festival and street theatre,
- the integration of children through a day camp,
- preventive care,

Who will benefit from this project (target group)
The number of the Roma: 70.
The project was designed to reach the men, women and children from poor families of the Roma community living in Kowary.
