Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The objective of the project was professional and social activation of the Roma.
Within the project, the unemployed Roma living in Poland were given the opportunity to take an internship, and thus improve their qualifications and practical skills useful in the search for employment.
The project opened the labour market to the Roma and gave a solution for creating the conditions for their entry into the labour market.


Results of the project
Within the project, the women and men of Roma origin received the opportunity to take an internship, and thus improve their professional qualifications.
Women bringing up preschool children were assured the payment for children's kindergarten stay during the internship.
People who have taken an internship outside their place of residence, has been guaranteed reimbursement of travel costs.

Who will benefit from this project (target group)
The beneficiaries were adults, men and women of Roma origin.
When choosing participants, the following criteria were taken into consideration: qualifications, previous history of trade, unemployment in the residence, commitment and potential candidates.
As part of the project:
- 66 people gained professional experience,
- 10 women bringing up preschool children were assured
the fee for children's kindergarten stay during the internship,
- 20 people who took internships outside their place of residence, were guaranteed reimbursement of travel costs.
