Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The project aims to contribute to the enhanced inclusion policies within the monitoring framework; functional analysis for the social care system and the functional analysis of the social welfare system. Policy options that are financially neutral and provide better services/benefits for users will be explored. The project complements the policy component with the direct support to inclusive initiatives that aim at the empowerment of vulnerable groups and the prevention of their exclusion from the society.
Results of the project
The results (outcomes) include:
- the improved functioning of the social care system;
- the data on social and economic position of the Roma analysed and national policies revised;
- improved governments' capacity to monitor and report on the issues of social exclusion and adopt relevant policies based on clear indicators;
- reduction in disadvantages experienced by the socially excluded individuals/groups.
Who will benefit from this project (target group)
The beneficiaries of the project are the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Central Bureau of Statistics, Croatian counties and municipalities. However, the project will provide most benefit to the vulnerable individuals or groups who are socially excluded or at the risk of social exclusion.
