Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The programme is being implemented in three counties, Sisak - Moslavina, Vukovar - Sirmium and Sibenik - Knin, in a total of 16 kindergartens, and aims at improving the quality of pre-school education of children belonging to vulnerable groups.
The programme offers a range of training that will strengthen the competencies of educators and professional staff in the field of respect for diversity, multiculturalism and an inclusive approach to education in order to create conditions for easier inclusion of children from vulnerable groups in kindergarten programmes.
One of the goals is to exercise and strengthen the cooperation of all key stakeholders in a common concern for all children in the local communities where the programme is implemented.
Results of the project
Expected results are completed six-day trainings:
- 'A child-oriented approach',
- 'Education for Social Justice',
- 'Inclusion of the disabled children',
- 'Working with children who do not speak Croatian and work in a multicultural environment', and
- a training for the leaders of community learning .
Who will benefit from this project (target group)
Teachers and staff in kindergartens, Roma children attending the kindergartens, thier parents and familiy, all communities where the project is being implemented. The number of kindergartnes implementing the programme is 16.
