Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
To provide Roma children living in rural areas in Panagyurishte Municipality with equal preparation and access to school.
To raise the motivation and understanding of Roma children, parents and the community as a whole for the importance of the education and the need to get well prepared before going (enrolling) children to preschool groups and first grade classes.
To develop the capacity, competencies and skills of 35 teachers working in preschool groups and first grade classes in the municipality.
To create a school environment that respect Roma children’s culture, traditions and habits.
To assist Roma families in the process of enrolling and further educational development of their children in preschool groups and first grade classes.

Results of the project
200 parents actively participate in the project and school activities.
35 teachers and managers of school institutions were trained in Communication, Intercultural Communication, Presentation skills, Legal framework of education, Human rights, Child rights.
Awareness of wide society has been increased through media and public events.
200 Roma children aged 5-7 enrolled in preparatory classess and 1st grade.
