Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The main goal of the project was: the promotion and creation of equal opportunities in the access to education for disadvantaged groups. The purpose was to improve school performance, the knowledge of the Croatian language and the involvement of Roma students in extracurricular activities, social inclusion, to enhance the development of a multicultural atmosphere in school and village Orehovica, to introduce ecological education, the improvement of social and communication skills and greater motivation of Roma children for inclusion in secondary education.

- Improved students' academic achievement, developed work habits
- The acquisition of the Croatian language in speech and writing
- Increased inclusion of the Roma in the local community
- Raised awareness of health and hygiene practices, ecological awareness
Who will benefit from this project (target group)
Roma population:
- Students - learned Croatian language in speech and writing, and thereby improved school performance.
- Parents - Improved cooperation of the parents of national minorities and the majority population.
- Municipality Orehovica - the cooperation of the local population and ethnic minorities contributed to the elimination of stereotypes and prejudices against the Roma and better coexistence of the two ethnic communities.
- Raised awareness of the need for mutual cooperation of all the residents of the Municipality.
