Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The project "Romani road" aimed to contribute to the social and professional activation of the Roma community and help the members of the community getting out of difficult situations and finding the open labour market.
It was particularly important to achieve equal levels in the fields such as education, employment, and health for the ability of the Roma to function in the civil society.
The specific objectives of the project are: the involvement of the target group in efforts to develop the ability to navigate the labour market, the acquisition of the knowledge required to conduct business activity from the scope of training, gaining knowledge and practical skills from the scope of selected professions and their requirements.
Results of the project
The project "Romani road" conducted career counselling for adults and workshops with the elements of psychological counselling to young people. The beneficiaries, through participation in the project, gained skills to navigate the labour market, they were acquainted with specific professional activities and requirements at individual, selected workplaces.
Who will benefit from this project (target group)
The project "Romani road," was attended by 26 people from the Roma community (women and men, aged 16-55) and 15 children aged 2-14.
