Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
In Poland there are many children who unfortunately do not have the opportunity to start education in preschool. In many cases, Roma children have a significantly impeded access to many educational activities, due to the fact that most children come from poor families.
Parents have a hard time spending any amount of money on education of children, and mothers often do not have the opportunity to start their careers because they are absorbed in raising children.

Results of the project
During the project, preparatory work and settlement tasks have been undertaken.
Children from 3-6 years old attended different kindergartens in Szczecinek. The project foresaw the participation of ten children, but due to the fact that the parents of two children benefited from another project, e.g. the professional internships for Roma parents got funding for the kindergartens of this projects, 9 children took part in the project.

Who will benefit from this project (target group)
9 children and their mothers from Szczecinek

Sources of funding
Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in Warsaw
