Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The objective of the project was to increase the qualifications and the level of education of the Roma community.
Increasing educational opportunities and the integration of Roma children. Improving the active job search skills of the Roma.
Improving self-esteem and self-confidence.
Improving the knowledge about the Roma ethnic minority in the local community.
Increasing the number of people from the Roma community benefiting from medical assistance.
Results of the project
The activities carried out in the project:
- a computer course for children and a driving course for adults,
- white days for the Roma and the first aid course,
- Roma children receiving education - remedial classes,
- integrative dance and music classes,
- educational, psychological, and professional counseling for the Roma,
- the preparation and publication of the Roma minority folder.
Who will benefit from this project (target group)
The number of the Roma: 31.
The project beneficiaries were men, women and children of Roma origin, at risk of social exclusion, living in Lubawskie.
