Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
The project was implemented in the border area of Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia where the Roma community is inhabited, it is the largest minority. The impact of the Roma culture is felt on the development of folk music, dance and numerous ethnological traditions.
Although the Roma communities of Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia have a long history of cooperation, this project strengthend and enhanced the traditional ties of Roma communities with the intent of becoming an international association of traditional, recognizable in the border areas, and representative as a good example of intercultural cooperation.

Results of the project
The project has contributed to raising awareness and the need to respect cultural differences when integrating Roma communities in all the border areas, the maintenance of cultural and sporting events, and greater social inclusion of the members of Roma communities.
The publication of a book titled "From the Life of Roma", and a short documentary film about the life and culture of the Roma in this area are also some of the results.
