Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
MERI is a European network of mayors - local authorities (Mayors Making the Most of EU Funds for Roma Inclusion Network (MERI), which implement programmes to promote the integration and inclusion of vulnerable groups with a focus on the Roma.

The programme goal:
Creating space to publicize the results of promoting social inclusion and the integration of the Roma through the exchange of ideas and experiences, sharing, and identifying best practices / Roma programmes used in European countries and the presentation of achievements at the local level, promoting education and raising the profile of the platform for the municipalities that implement national strategies for Roma integration.

Sources of funding
Founder of the network, which was formed at the turn of 2011/2012 is an international organization Open Society Foundations (OSF) under the maximum pumping EU funds for Roma (MtM) in cooperation with the European Commission.
