Summary (goals and purposes of the project)
To enhance teachers' competence for the application of multicultural education in their classrooms and to promote respect for diversity among children, school personnel were involved in the two education trainings: 'Living diversity - Education for Social Justice' (4 days) and 'Education for diversity' (3 days) during which they discussed various opportunities for the use of materials and strategies for classroom to reflect the diversity that exists in the classroom, the local community and the world in which they live. It was an opportunity to raise the sensitivity of teachers and other professional staff involved in training for the problems faced by Roma children and their families during primary education, the alleviation of prejudices and stereotypes towards the members of the Roma minority and other vulnerable groups and increasing expectations of teachers regarding the academic achievements of Roma children.

Results of the project
The teachers attended two follow-up meetings, where they could share experiences on various activities that they have carried out in their classes.
