The Roma people express their attitudes to each other with names, external changes in their bodies, attitude to specific body parts. Interpersonal relations are regulated with rituals that are hidden in their greetings, gifts, hospitality, proposals of marriage, visits, jokes, cooperation, respecting age difference, gestures, good manners, family celebrations, incest prohibition, sexual limitations, also puberty, pregnancy, breastfeeding, mourning, and death rituals. They have habits and rituals indicating their relation to nature and understanding of the outside world. It reflects in their tools, use of fire, living areas, understanding of time, cosmology, magic and healing methods, predictions of the future, dreams explanation, ban of certain dishes, perception of clean and unclean, etc. In their culture, they have their social institutions, which are shown through tradition, laws, possession and inheritance rights, punishments, statuses, rules on common living, language, rituals, raising children, ethic, wedding and birth rituals, birth control, art, etc.
